Sandpipers remind me so much of my dad. We used to take long walks on the beach and just watch them chase the waves. As my boys leave the nest, I wonder a lot about this next phase of life just me and the hubs. And I definitely think they’ll involve long walks and lots of time admiring the beauty of life 🫶🏻

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… real life is NOT social media. I have more days than not where I make every excuse in the book to skip a workout, a household task (ugh folding laundry), walk the dog because I’m too tired or procrastinate a work email. Guess what? We’re human and not every day is going to be a ten. But it’s those days when you have the choice to turn it around and show up for nobody else but YOURSELF. You’ll never regret putting yourself first. We owe ourselves that respect. You’ve earned it. 🖤

Never sure what to do with that “in between space?” Too narrow to add a couch, too in the way to make a reading nook… so it becomes a dumping ground for random things. Good thing we love a design challenge. Happy #transformationtuesday! 🙌🏻
