I was recently asked the panel question, “which room do you love designing the most?” Although I answered “the entry” which for me sets the tone for a home, I would follow it up with “the powder room” as my second favorite. Why? Because everyone gets to see it and experience it! We looove to have fun and take risks in powder rooms and it’s usually a forgotten space. Four installs, an epic nyc photo shoot, one design presentation, two client kick offs, a charity tablescape, a trip to see Mel Robbins, my son’s birthday, a same day site check to Palm Beach, one designer panel, my bestie’s work anniversary, our new intern and …. my big 50th bash! From concept to completion, we love what we do and my team proves it day after day! Although not completely finished, we are so close to revealing our #ontopoftheworld project in Darien CT. A truly magical location working with the kindest, trusting clients I can’t wait to capture every inch to share with you!

A lot of our job is consistently trying to re-imag

A lot of our job is consistently trying to re-imagine a space in order to improve function and beauty for our clients. This requires lots of thinking beyond the box! In this instance, we chose to design our client’s dream laundry room by framing a new room within the parameters of their otherwise useless tall entry way. This incredible transformation gave this family of five a not only much needed proper laundry room but also a darling not so daunting entry.
