July is the pivotal month of Summer… when every

July is the pivotal month of Summer… when every occasion is red, white and blue, when you fill your “school nights” with boat rides and beach picnics, and when you pack in as many gatherings and pool days as possible. I love to spend as much time in the garden as I can caring for my hydrangeas and veggies and cutting back the roses praying for a second bloom. Travel for me is late June or August so Summer is celebrated at home in July. What about you all? 🇺🇸

The Knicks, a hospital stay, a design presentation, a surgery, a music festival, a new client onboarding, a Hamptons workout, an edm concert, a photo shoot, an install, a girls weekend and a last day of high school… wow June, you kicked my ass. This past month was a certified roller coaster but as my friend would put it, I’m busy L I V I N 🤩 Looking forward to Summer and all the memories it brings because as we all know, time is not on our side. YOLO!

8 years 💔 Not a day goes by without you guiding me, showing me the way, living life with grace and imperfection, maximizing every moment and having the confidence to go forth. You were my world, my mentor, my motivator and biggest cheerleader. The love of my life. We miss you beyond words. I wish you could see how the boys have become incredible men, how proud you’d be of my entrepreneurial journey and celebrate all of it with us. It’s just not fair. But within me, you live amongst us. To my rock… my hero. A part of me died when you left and today is another extra hard day without you. You are supposed to be celebrated today and hugged and loved and fed your favorite things and told how much you mean to our family. But instead I hold on tight to your memory and maybe play back an old voicemail just to hear your voice again. Lord knows I know I was the luckiest girl to have you as my father. Tu me manques Papa. Ngl it’s been a long few weeks… first to hear

Ngl it’s been a long few weeks… first to hear my thyroid eye disease is progressing followed by my son’s infection which kept us in the hospital for three days then his shoulder surgery (albeit planned but ooof)! Through it all, there are also so many positives and I know many folks around me have it much worse. I remind myself daily what a privilege it is to feel all the feels and to be grateful for the present. Now let’s get after it! 🙌🏻
