Luxe, lush, and textured rugs can be the difference-maker in a space. How do we choose which rug to use and where? Below is a little guide to some of our favorite rugs that we’ve installed. See how they helped define each project.
For the Living Room
Go big or go home! A common mistake we see time and time again is an undersized rug for the space. The living room is typically a larger sized room in the home and the rug should fit accordingly. We prefer a low pile, high traffic resistant rug in the living room and love the rug to sit slightly under the couch legs with at least 6” of rug showing on either side leaving room for side tables.

For the Bedroom
We want our bedrooms to be comfortable and calming, after all it’s where we find our peace and stillness at the end of a busy day. From the sheets that we lay on to the rug we sink our toes into, the bedroom is all about inviting colors that welcome rest and romance. We prefer a high pile rug for the bedroom or a jute-chenille mix to add texture.

For the Kitchen
A vintage runner in the narrow space between your island and your sink or your range gives your kitchen the perfect glow up, adding warmth, dimension and floor protection into a space we spend most of our time in. Why vintage? Because it blends any stains, is super durable and gets even prettier over use and time! Choose colors that complement the space and don’t be afraid to go long.
