Special shout out to our lead designer Mackenzie on our HOBI winning lower level design project alongside @polcerhome 🫶🏻 Mackenzie embodies the very definition of GLDESIGN… passion, heart, detail and talent! I couldn’t do what I do without our team and am so grateful for every moment with this crew! I never submit to awards shows not for any other reason than being busy, being a small business on a budget and maybe… imposter syndrome?! Well I have Kevin and his Polcer Home team to thank for pushing me out of my comfort zone and this week’s festivities were really fun celebrating and applauding designers, builders and vendors alike. So let’s just say I may make this a 2025 goal to share our work beyond this platform because I KNOW my team deserves it! And to all of you who have been so supportive to my design business… I applaud YOU because you fuel my passion each day. I am humbled.

I’m in loooove with November and its beauty of n

I’m in loooove with November and its beauty of natural transition. From sunlit trees to falling leaves I’m here for it all, like a big deep breath. 🍂 This is also a time where I feel myself leaning toward more neutral palettes like clutter free white oak coffee tables and lots and lots of texture like plaster walls and boucle chairs. Let love, laughter and peace of gathering be the focal point this month and the rest stay in the background. 🤎

I blinked and we’re onto November! This month ha

I blinked and we’re onto November! This month has been full of heavy and light moments. I am so grateful to be surrounded each day with an incredible team from friends, crews, vendors, family and my GLDESIGN family. It takes a village to get through the day to day and we cannot do it alone. I think my biggest takeaway this beautiful month is.. book the trip, get that extra hug in and breathe 🧡

When coastal meets farmhouse… we are in looooove! Obsessed with this throw back from our #darienrenoproject with @larry_larkin_builders and the combination of old and new. This project went on to make the cover of a national magazine and we couldn’t be more proud of how timeless it is. I’m all for the grey barn board vs white oak these days 🫶🏻
