For longtime clients whose homes span Westport and Palm Beach, we transformed a dated one-bedroom apartment into a two-bedroom pied-à-terre overlooking New York City. They imagined a place where Paris and New York could meet, a direction that felt especially close to home for Gaelle, who was born and raised in France. We reworked the layout to add a second bedroom and bath, then layered in vintage vessels, patinated ceramics and sculptural travertine tables. Steel-framed doors open to a private terrace and bring light into the soft, neutral rooms. The finished apartment feels elegant and easy to live in, with details that speak to both cities and to the trust built over three homes together.
