What began as a new kitchen quickly grew into a much more elaborate first-floor renovation. To give this Westport family the space they truly wanted, we transformed the formal living room into a new dining room and combined the former dining room and kitchen into one light-filled gathering space. We made the custom 10-foot white oak island the talking point, then added brass accents, leather pendants and soft coastal color for warmth and character. A bar nook and inviting family room completed the new layout, giving the family more daylight, better flow and plenty of room to gather.
